A long-standing and beloved tradition at St. Agnes School, the annual Middle School Play showcases our middle school students’ acting, singing, and dancing  talents in a theatrical performance directed by Mrs. Katie White, our 4th-8th Grade Science teacher. Mr. Dan Baker, our music teacher, provides his musical expertise. Ms. Heather King, the art teacher, helps design and build the sets and props.  Mrs. Angie Romeo, dance teacher from MDSA, choreographs and teachers the dances. This team effort by teachers, parents, and students creates an entertaining and enjoyable show every year.

Band is open to all students in grades 4 - 8. No experience necessary! Play the trumpet, trombone, alto sax, flute, clarinet, or drums! Led by the St. Agnes legend, Mr. Baker, our Band Members are exposed to the fine art of reading, understanding and playing music.

Band Practices on Mondays. Always bring your instruments and music on Mondays. Advanced band practices on Wednesday after school from 3:15 - 4:00.

Our more experienced choir singers are invited to be part of our School Choir. Mr. Baker spends Tuesday afternoons working with our older signers to fine tune their voices with more challenging arrangements. The St. Agnes Seraphim lead our Cherub Choir during our Masses.

The Media Masters Club is open to Middle School Students who want to learn more about expressing themselves creatively through various forms of media. Our main projects include our monthly newspaper, The BEARtimore Sun, our yearbook, and videos used on social media. Led by Mrs. Clemmy Smith and Mrs. Katie Wilder, this club meets weekly on Mondays after school.

"He who sings, prays twice."  Our students in Second through Eighth grades are invited to join the Cherub Choir, led by Mrs. Julie Williams and Mr. Baker. Our Cherubs practice every Thursday from 3:15 - 4:00 in the Music Room. They lead us in worship by singing once a month in our School Mass and once a month during regular Sunday Mass. Each year, we look forward to hearing their beautiful voices at the annual Christmas Performance and Live Nativity Mass.
