Celebrating the Class of 2019
The days leading up to a St. Agnes graduation are quite festive on our campus. The festivities began on June 6 with our “Passing the Torch of Leadership Ceremony”. This memorable event honors the 8th graders for their role as the identified student leaders of our school as they transferred this responsibility over to their 7th grade peers. Also on this day, our soon to be graduates were cheered on as they ran through our main hallway amid high fives from their younger schoolmates. The “Hallway High-Five Run” serves as a festive reminder to the unique place our 8th grade has held in our hearts. Then on June 7, our school celebrated the Class of 2019 with a very special Baccalaureate Mass and Rose Ceremony. This final Mass allowed our entire community to gather together and pray for our 8th Grade in Eucharistic celebration. This memorable day concluded with a congratulatory luncheon hosted by their parents. And then on June 8, the big day arrived. Our graduation was a glorious ceremony indeed. This year’s commencement included a musical performance by Madison Paradella and Henry Romeo, as well as a farewell speech from Owen Benefiel.
Included as part of our graduation ceremony was the presentation of special awards. The students below were recognized for their unique contributions to our school:

Also included in the awards portion of our graduation ceremony was the recognition of two families with multi-generational graduates. The Legacy Tree Honor serves as a tribute to the families who have provided a sustained commitment to our program by continuing the tradition of sending their children to our school. This year’s Legacy Tree was presented to Patty Watkins-Wilson, Class of 1984, and her son Ryan, Class of 2019. As well as, Jim Romeo, Class of 1989 and his son Henry, Class of 2019.
It was quite a week and more importantly, it was an amazing year in BEAR NATION.
