Hallo-Giving is more than Halloween

October 31, 2017

At St. Agnes, our students learn more than just the essential academic subjects. They learn that as Christians, we are called to share the Light of Christ with others. So today as others celebrated the secular holiday of Halloween, BEAR Nation instead chose to celebrate "Hallo-Giving". On this special day, our students began their morning by visiting an on-campus pumpkin patch to select just the perfect jack-o-lantern to decorate with their prayer partner. A gracious note of appreciation to Sharp Farms for generously donating the pumpkins and to Home Depot for kindly donating the hay bales. After decorating, our entire student body paraded down to the Frederick Villa Nursing Care Center to present the decorated pumpkins and hand-made greeting cards for the  senior

residents. Seeing the joyous smiles upon the faces of those who call Frederick Villa home was the sweetest treat of the day for our St. Agnes students.
