Our early childhood classrooms and curriculum are designed to provide children with an environment that is nurturing, engaging and stimulating.
Children in our preschool experience guided play, hands-on learning activities each day and group play. Kindergarten readiness skills, art, music, and movement are all integrated into the day as a means in which to fully engage children in the learning process and encourage their natural curiosity of our global community. The classroom provides a positive environment comprised of a community of learners who work together to discover through collaboration with each other, their teachers, and classroom resources. St. Agnes School provides an environment where children can develop independence which fosters a positive self-image as they grow in their relationship with God. We work to cultivate their relationship with God, as well as teaching them about our Catholic faith and traditions. Students feel the care and support of their teachers, allowing them to learn at a deeper level.
Children are taught by passionate, skillful teachers who bring innovation and a love of teaching to the classroom, helping our students to inspire excitement and develop a curiosity in learning. Our multi-cultural view is grounded by the belief in teaching our students to value both what makes us different and that which makes us the same. We offer two instructional staff members per classroom, dynamic learning spaces, and academic and developmental enrichment beyond the core subjects in the areas of art, music, technology and library media.
